Marija lives currently in Finland and works as a graphic designer and layouter (as well as a journalist). She was educated in Drama and Theater Studies both in Finland and England. In the field of visual arts she is self learned, and is now happy to pursue this lifelong passion professionally.
She most enjoys drawing with ink, coffee and tea, but has recently expanded to more colourful drawings with coloured pencils. Her favourite visual artists include George Grosz, Tove Jansson and possibly Cy Twombly.
Marija is designing book covers of Neofelis Verlag, a Berlin-based publishing house . She has also collaborated on theatre productions with, for example, friendly.fire -group for their production at Centraltheater Leipzig.
